As Received:   Senator David Mark’s first son, Tunde, d#es in U.K at 51 Former Senate President, Senator David Mark, is bereaved as his first son, Tunde Mark, passed away in the early hours of Friday, October 21.  A family source told DailySun that Tunde d#ed in London, U.K. after b@ttling with cancer. He was aged 51.  According to the report, the corp$e is expected to be flown to Nigeria in the coming days. He left behind a wife and a child.

  The Independence Day always fall aptly with the program organized by the Reliables FC, Ebute Meta, Lagos.  October 1st is The Reliables FC Chairman's birthday and therefore made this a double celebration spiced with a friendly match between the Oldies teams, The Reliables FC Ebute Metta vs All Stars Obanikoro. The football match was entertaining and eventful with a great supportership gestures on display.  The match ended in a 3 - 2 in favour of the home team, Reliables FC Ebute Metta, Lagos. All Stars Obanikoro, Lagos also fought gallantly came back from 2 goals down to 2 all and for the undoubted resilience of the home team, another goal was added towards the close of the game. That means, bearing the outcome of the decision of the Elections Tribunal, Ademola Adeleke would be sworn in at the next Governor of Osun State in November.

The Presidency wishes to strongly assert that there is no state, not Katsina, not any other state in the federation, that has been authorized to procure automatic weapons for their security outfits. Under this administration, the President has repeatedly made it clear that nobody is allowed to illegally carry AK-47 or any other automatic weapons and that they must surrender them. Where they fail to do so, the law enforcement agencies have been given clear directives to deal with any such outlaws. Under the existing regulations, only the Office of the National Security Adviser can issue such authorization, upon proper clearance by the President and Commander-in-Chief and as it is at this moment, no such approvals have been issued to any state government.

 Lagos - Ijebu Ode Old road is one of the early road infrastructures in the south western Nigeria till date.  This is along Ilado/Ibefun - Itoikin road. Many killed, palace, petrol station, vehicles burnt by gunmen ...Oyo Assembly Speaker condemns attack Blood flowed freely in Igangan, one of the seven principal towns of Ibarapaland in Oyo State, on Saturday night as gunmen reportedly dispatched many persons to their early graves in the town. The bandits, according to sources, were about 50 and they invaded the town around 11pm on Saturday on more than 20 motorcycles. During the invasion, the palace of the paramount ruler of the town, the Asigangan of Igangan, Oba Lasisi Adeoye, as well as a popular petroleum station and some cars were reportedly razed. The exact number of people killed during the attack could not be immediately ascertained as at the time of filing this report. Some people said 20 persons lost their lives, while another set said 10 persons were killed. As Received   By Abankula Lagos Police Commissioner (CP) Hakeem Odumosu has offered some insight into how Pastor Joshua     died Saturday night.Joshua, he said , was officially pronounced dead by a hospital around 3am.           “It is true he is dead. I do not know the cause of his death yet. But the information we have is that he      was conducting service. Along the line, he felt uncomfortable, walked to his apartment himself and      never came back.       . “His people thought he probably wanted to rest or refresh but when they didn’t see him after a long        while, they went in search of him and found him in an unusual position.          “The service started in the evening.
