*AIR PEACE BOSS, ALLEN ONYEMA, LEVERAGING ON CSR....*

 

Air Peace Chairman, Allen Onyema CON, is already a household name in Nigeria as you are reading this piece, whether his critics and cynics like it or not.

Corporate Social Responsibility is one of the tools he has constantly explored to climb that successful ladder in the aviation industry, findings reveal.  

Though, CSR in Nigeria is philanthropic in nature and has culture of charity as companies and wealthy individuals contribute to charitable causes and use these contributions to garner positive publicity. Despite extending good gesture to lots of Nigerians with Air Peace, his critics nonetheless attack him now and again, for no just cause. But Allen never stops doing good. 

Many would not forget in a hurry how the renowned entrepreneur in 2019 evacuated hundreds of Nigerians from South Africa during the Xenophobic attacks.

When lots of countries are painting Nigerians name bad, Allen kept creating good reputation with Air Peace, for Nigerians in the diaspora. 

That Allen Onyema, Chief Executive Officer, Air Peace, has been able to stand tall despite all odds against him particularly in his business, is what astounds many. But what they don’t understand about this lawyer cum entrepreneur is that he was born with the proverbial lucky star. Nevertheless, he has never taken the grace of God in his life for granted.

Nigerians in Ukraine were standed when Russia President, Putin struck! Lots of students and their parents started calling on Nigeria Federal Government to rescue them. Allen Onyema took bold step with Air Peace to bring back our students in Ukraine to Nigeria. 

His name became the cynosure of all eyes. Nigeria's immediate past president, Muhammodu Buhari started hunting for and asking about this image laundering man, Allen Onyema.

When Nigerians also got stranded in Sudan, he came out boldly to evacuate Nigerians home. 

All his life, Onyema always aimed for the best. Even so, he has an abiding trust in the Almighty God. He remains unshaken even when things are difficult and seem almost impossible to actualise.

For those who don't know much about this business guru, findings addded that at the beginning of his career, he started as a lawyer and later ventured into the real estate business. As fate would have it, he joined the players in the aviation sector. Today, he’s regarded as one of the major players in West Africa’s Aviation Sector. 

Those close to him revealed that he has remained relevant based on his tenacity and doggedness.

No doubt, evidence of his success abounds. Despite a series of media attacks targeted at maliciously denting the reputation he has built over the years with dedication, selflessness and hard work, he has always been vindicated.

Days back, he organised Sports and Diplomacy past heroes recognition/awards event to honour the Nigeria 1976 Olympians (who were unceremoniously recalled/withdrawn by the then Nigeria Military Government a few days to the opening ceremony) and the historic 1980 Africa Nations Cup winning Super Eagles, done in conjunction with Nigeria Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), with the great Mathematical Segun Odegbami MON very pivotal to its coming to reality.

The event gave awards and rewards to the Nigeria athletes who had served our fatherland and forgotten for long. 

The rest is history today as Allen Onyema is getting attention everyday as far as aviation industry and his business empire is concerned. 

The cosmopolitan business magnate, who sows doggedly, is currently reaping bountifully, as his airline, Air Peace, is being showered accolades by all, for its seamless services and good customer relations.

Leveraging his intelligence in the business, the Anambra State-born Onyema has been able to move his company from an indigenous airline leasing a few planes, to owning fleets plying international routes; thus, putting Air Peace in the leagues of industry players in Africa and the rest of the world, while also according Nigeria the great prestige she deserves among the comity of nations.

Scheduled for the August trip, the High Commissioner of the Trinidad and Tobago to Nigeria , Mr. Wendell Vincent Carlton De Landro - Aare Atunluto of Ilara Kingdom, Epe Division of Lagos State, would be leading select top Nigerian dignitaries to meet Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister, Keith Rowley .

 

His Royal Majesty, Kabiyesi Alayeluwa Oba (Dr.) Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo ( TELADE IV) , Alara of Ilara Kingdom alongside Chairman Air Peace, Allen Onyema CON, DG NIIA - Prof. Eghosa Osaghae and Nigeria Ex- International Segun Odegbami MON are among eminents Nigerians to meet the Prime Minister as part of bilateral relationship signed by Ilara-Epe Kingdom of Lagos State, Nigeria and Trinidad and Tobago. These Nigerians, will be given awards in Trinidad and Tobago .

 

Air Peace is set to again magnanimously convey lots of Nigerian big personalities to Port of Spain, where the event will take place. 

Undoubtedly, CSR is really paying off for the Air Peace man and lots of companies can also adopt this effective business strategy, to gain attention in marketing their services and products to the world at large. 

In the aviation industry currently, Air Peace brand has Increased in popularity, no doubt. Allen's enviable moves have boosted company reputation. At Air Peace , employees find fulfillment in working with Allen Onyema, feelers revealed.

No wonder former President Muhammadu Buhari gave him national honour - National Productivity Order of Merit (NPOM) award, before he left office.  

This certainly

proves that his numerous humanitarian and philanthropic activities, have not gone unnoticed to even our national government.
