COLLAPSED BUILDING AT No. 20 AMUSU STREET, BAALE, ORILE IGANMU


A distressed storey building already marked for demolition has collapsed in Orile-Iganmu. 


No casualty was recorded as the building had been evacuated two weeks before the incident. In fact, it had been marked for demolition. 



The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency(LASEMA), Fire Service, Building Control Agency (LASBCA) and the Police are at the scene to ensure there are no secondary incidents.

The entire members of Oju Olokun Progressive Forum, Isale-Eko, Lagos Island have extended appreciable gestures of alms giving to the vulnerables, aged and the needy, thereby, donating to the course of Almighty Allah and Humanity. This was executed on Sunday 31st March, 2024. This is in line with the doctrine of Islam especially during the month of Ramadan.
