 This is former nigeria goalkeeper Peter Fregene, otherwise known as Flyíng cat back in the 70s, he is dyíng in abject póverty while Brazil celebrated Pele till dèath. It surprises me to see the likes of Kanu, Okocha celebrating Pele while this man is dyíng as a commóner!

Eko Chronicles implores the Nigeria sports constituency to reflect more on ex sports men and women welfare and put in place a well packaged insurance policies for the existing and active sports personnels in the country.

Lagos Legends Club had put in place a formidable front in combating old age by opening a Welfare Fund for the oldies and friends. 

The convener of LLC, Alhaji Waidi Akanni told Eko Chronicles about the importance of putting the welfare of sports men and women at the fore front of all activities of the club. This has gotten a tremendous acceptance from members within and outside Nigeria.

Henry NWOSU (MON) is a beneficiary of this gesture, let's do more to our great men and women in sports...
