EREDO LCDA NEEDS MORE OF GOVERNMENT PRESENCE - Residents complaining of Insecurity and other vices

The residents of Iji, Jegbende, Igbonla, Igbodu, Igboye communities and environs in Eredo LCDA, Epe division of Lagos state are calling on Lagos state government of Olusola Sanwo-Olu to come to their aids.  Insecurity has been the order of the day in some riverine parts of the local council and this has made it a burden to the local council to curtail. Government officials are not spared when it comes to kidnapping in these areas. Teachers are in a serious dilemma if transferred to these so called areas. Schools are jettisoned due to Insecurity by the students. The indigents of Eredo LCDA say, Epileptic power supply, insufficient and inadequate infrastructure are also our daily doses in EREDO LCDA.  The local council cannot generate enough to cater for all the wards under it's canopy considering the quantum of infrastructure, social welfare and security of lives and properties in it's domain. Red Rail Line: Sanwo-Olu Orders Contractor to Deliver Project December

As Received Lagos state News …Issues 2 Days Ultimatum to Traders Along Rail-Line to Vacate Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Wednesday, directed the contractor handling the multi-million dollar Red Rail Line project to deliver the job by December, 2023. This came as Sanwo-Olu announced that the much expected inauguration of Yaba and Ikeja-Along Flyovers, which are component of the Red Rail Line project, would be opened to vehicular movement next month, October, 2023. Meanwhile, Sanwo-Olu has issued a two-day ultimatum to traders along Agege rail line to vacate within two days or be forced to do so.  ekochronicles1@gmail.com It was a pathetic sight to behold in Iraye Oke, Epe when two grownups engaged each other in an argument that results into upheaval via simple repairs of a radio by the electronics repairer who is in his 60s.  The neighbours and passersby have intervened in the matter but to no avail. The electronics repairer who is known as Kamoru a.k.a Karachi, according to a source who claims anonymity says Kamoru is a notorious craftsman especially when he's dealing with delayed jobs of clients male or female and frequently goes into scuffles in settling his businesses  with clients . His client, a Cleric at a nearby Celestial Church of Christ popularly known as "Oba ni Jesu" was at Kamoru's place to collect his radio but rather met with an untimely death on the day he was celebrating his birthday.  The Pastor/Prophet clocked 51 on Monday 11th September, 2023. Lagos state News  SANWO-OLU COMMENDED FOR PROMPT PAYMENT OF PENSIONS The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Establishments and Training, Mr. Olawale Musa has commended the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu for the consistent and prompt payment of pensions to public service retirees. Musa gave the commendation today while delivering the keynote address at the 101st Bond Certificate presentation ceremony held at Ikeja, affirming that the State Government has been consistent with the payment of pensions and the Governor has been working assiduously to ensure that the state attains a level where retirees get their entitlement immediately as they retire.
